SSL/TSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect confidential information during transmission, our site uses SSL/TSL encryption. Encrypted connections can be identified by the prefix “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser address bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties. At present, we use 256-bit encryption.

Automatic language detection

Our Internet site makes a small local query to detect the language set in your browser. This allows us to display content in the best language possible. This is to enhance your user experience and to ensure that communication can be understood (legitimate interest).

The legal basis for the processing shall be Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

Server log files

Our Website provider (1&1 Internet SE) automatically collects and saves information passed automatically by your browser to 1&1 when you call our Website in server log files.


This information is as follows:

– Browser type and version

– Used operating system

– Referrer URL (where you were on the Internet before you called our site)

– Host name of accessing computer

– Time of the server request

– IP address

– The duration of your stay on our Website

– Any calls you make of individual (sub)pages

To protect your personal data, 1&1 Internet SE WebAnalytics does not use cookies. In addition, browser detection information and IP addresses are saved anonymously so that site visits cannot be associated with individual persons. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data subsequently if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) b in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) c and f.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, the information you provide on the contact form along with all of the contact data you enter there will be saved by us in order to process your inquiry and in case there are any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) a.

Automatic decisions/profiling

As a responsible company, we do not use automatic decision-making or profiling (i.e. a process by which we create a profile about you).

Your rights as a data subject

We save data collected via our Website for a maximum period of 24 months. The data is then deleted automatically.

You have a right to information about whether and how we have processed personal data about you (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to have incorrect data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to the erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restrict the processing of your data (Art. 18 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

In the case of the rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of your data, we will also inform any recipients to whom your personal data was disclosed of the execution of your right in accordance with Art. 17-18 GDPR. If required, we will also share the recipients with you as per Art. 19 GDPR.

You also have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), i.e. the right to receive data which you have provided from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

Right to complain and point of complaint

Right to object
