Apprenticeship as a wholesale and export merchant (m/f/nb)

You enjoy customer contact and would you like passing on your knowledge of our processed special materials to our customers? You are good in organising, enjoy to coordinate the goods flows and you always have an eye on deadlines, deliveries and sources of supply? Finance and accounting are also interesting for you? Then training as a wholesale and export merchant (m/f/nb) could be the perfect choice.

Duration: Generally 3 years but can be shortened by 6-12 months under certain conditions.

What’s waiting for you in the practical part:

The practical part of your training, including exciting and varied challenges, will take place within our company. You’ll get to know the various departments at our company and you’ll learn about individual work steps. We’ll give you valuable insights into our technical processes such as forging and heat treatments. In addition, you’ll work independently on projects such as acquiring new customers.

What’s waiting for you in the theory part:

The theory part of your training will take place at the vocational business school. Your study time will either be organised in blocks or will take place in a weekly mix with the practical part of your training within our company. Among other things, you’ll learn about business processes, controls and checks, and economic and social processes.

Apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/nb)

You are interested in the management and controlling of operational processes? What about organising and monitoring deadlines, staff and the quality of the special materials we process? Finance and accounting are also interesting for you? Then how about an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/nb) at Faulenbach?

Duration: Generally 3 years but can be shortened by 6-12 months under certain conditions.

What’s waiting for you in the practical part:

You’ll get to know different departments such as Purchasing, Production, Shipping and Sales. You’ll gain insight into the entire order fulfilment process. We’ll guide you through the procurement of goods to production control, market analysis, customer service and sales planning. You’ll also learn about all aspects of finance, accounting and personnel management.

What’s waiting for you in the theory part:

The theory part of your training will take place at the vocational business school. Your study time will either be organised in blocks or will take place in a weekly mix with the practical part of your training within our company. Among other things, you’ll learn about business processes, controls and checks, and economic and social processes.

Apprenticeship as a technical product designer (m/f/nb)

Do you have an eye for detail? Are you interested in both design and engineering? Are you good at maths and physics? Do you work analytically? Do you have sound spatial awareness? If so, perhaps an apprenticeship as a technical product designer (m/w/nb) at Faulenbach in the field of machine and plant design might be the ideal choice for you.

Duration: Generally 3.5 years but can be shortened by 6-12 months under certain conditions.

What’s waiting for you in the practical part:

At our company, you’ll gain a range of exciting insights as you get to know our various departments such as Production and Quality Assurance. You’ll learn about the special materials we process, their properties and processing methods. You’ll follow the progress of our products from the design stage to completion and learn how to cater to the needs of our customers and comply with sector-specific standards.

What’s waiting for you in the theory part:

The theory part of your training will take place at the vocational business school. Your study time will either be organised in blocks or will take place in a weekly mix with the practical part of your training within our company. Among other things, you’ll learn about technical drawing, CAD, design theory, maths and physics.
