9. Storage Periods

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as long as statutory retention periods exist (e.g. 6 years under the German Commercial Code (HGB), 10 years under the German Fiscal Code (AO)). After that, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

12. Website and Cookies

12.1 Server log files

When visiting our website, the following data is automatically processed:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Date and time of access

  • Pages accessed
  • Referrer URL
  • Retrieval status

12.2 Cookies

We use temporary (session) and permanent cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
As of June 1, 2023, our website only uses technically necessary cookies.

12.3 SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar and the lock symbol in your browser. When SSL encryption is activated, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. We currently use 256-bit encryption.

12.4 Automatic language detection

Our website detects your browser’s language setting via a small local query. Accordingly, the most appropriate language is displayed to you. This serves your convenience and ensures understandable communication (legitimate interest).

12.5 Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide, including your contact details, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

As a responsible company, we do not use automated decision-making or profiling (i.e., processes in which we create a profile about you).
