Material description
The material 2.4642 is a nickel-chromium alloy.
The alloy has excellent resistance to high-temperature and moisture corrosion as well as good resistance to oxidising media. In addition, 2.4642 (Alloy 690) has high strength and good metallurgical stability. These properties make the material very easy to machine.
