Material description
Material 2.4068 is an unalloyed, pure nickel. 2.4068 has a low carbon content (LC variant 2.4066), which ensures an extremely good corrosion resistance. In addition, Alloy 201 is resistant to reducing and oxidising acids and alkaline media. The material also has high ductility even at high temperatures.
An overview of the properties of 2.4068:
- Extremely good corrosion resistance
- Resistant to acid (reducing and oxidising) and alkaline media
- High ductility
Applications
- Chemical and petrochemical industry
- Production of chlorine, hydrogen chloride and caustic soda
- Food industry
